Elizabeth and I are honored to serve Magnolia—a region called to faithful action in this moment. Across Louisiana and Mississippi, we believe God is inviting His Church to move with clarity, unity, and purpose, not waiting for a better time, but responding in obedience now.

Magnolia NOW reflects our conviction that God’s work is present, active, and urgent. It is a call to engage the mission of Christ with intentionality today. Our vision is simple and focused: Evangelize, Equip, Encourage, and Empower. These are not abstract ideals—they are the practical expression of how we serve pastors, leaders, and congregations across the Magnolia Region.

We are committed to evangelizing our communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ, believing that lives are still transformed by the power of salvation. We seek to equip believers and leaders with biblical truth, spiritual formation, and practical tools for effective ministry. We strive to encourage pastors and churches, knowing that healthy leaders are essential to healthy churches. And we aim to empower the body of Christ to serve, lead, and multiply—confident in the calling God has placed upon them.

Scripture reminds us, “And he gave some to be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry” (Ephesians 4:11–12). As Paul also affirms, “So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth” (1 Corinthians 3:7). Our responsibility is faithful obedience now; God brings the increase in His timing.

The Magnolia Region exists to strengthen the Church for this season—cultivating leaders who lead with humility, churches that minister with compassion, and communities that experience the love and power of Christ. We are moving forward together, not driven by urgency alone, but guided by the Spirit and grounded in God’s Word.
