2025 Rental Information for Overnight Camps
Churches, Clubs, Family Reunions, Retreats, Weddings, and any large gathering can be accommodated at Kamp Kumbaya. We have approximately 82 acres, including a seven-acre lake. Accommodations consist of ten cabins for campers that sleep 170, three staff cabins that sleep 30, a director's office, nurse's station, fully equipped kitchen and a dining area that will seat 300, plus an air-conditioned chapel with seating for 200. For the camper's enjoyment, there is a lighted swimming pool, lighted ball field, gymnasium with basketball court, volleyball court, and ping pong tables, beautiful lake with canoes and paddle boats, a camp store and fully equipped snack bar. We have just begun a process to completely renovate all 10 camper cabins over the next 5 years.
We have a base price of only $24.00 per person per night which covers the entire campground. During Peak season, May 1 to August 31, we have a minimum charge of $1,200 per day. The minimum charge is for 50 people total (campers and staff included). During Off-Peak season, September 1 to April 30, there is a minimum charge of $840 per day. The minimum charge is for 35 people total (campers and staff included). See below for additional information and special equipment rental charges.
Also, it is understood that each cabin is to have a least 15 persons before opening another cabin. As long as the person minimum is met, there is a daily rate of $15.00 per person for those who walk-in during the day and don't stay overnight.

The applicant will be responsible for any loss or damage to the camp, the buildings, structures, facilities, or equipment therein, resulting from the neglect of donduct of the applicant or any of its campers or staff. The applicant is responsible for insuring that the camp is left clean. A cleaning list will be provided. A walk-through will be done by the camp manager and applicant and check-in and check-out.
The following is prohibited: pets, alcoholic beverages, firearms, immoral conduct, and illegal use of drugs. Smoking is permitted only in the designated area outside the dining hall. Campfires and fireworks are not permitted without approval of the Camp Manager.
The camp reserves the right to require the rental or any part of the group to leave the campground should their behavior dictate.
The applicant must provide a licensed lifeguard for any activities which are conducted at the swimming pool or at the lake. The pool gate must be locked when the pool is not in use.
Groups using the ball field lights will be assessed an additional fee of $40.00 per hour the lights are used.

We do have a minimum charge per night of 35 (off-peak season) or 50 (peak season) people. Paper goods (toilet tissue, paper towels, large coffee filters, aluminum foil, clear wrap, napkins, etc.)
Garbage bags (44 to 60 gallons and 14 to 20 gallons)
Cleaning supplies (comet dish wash, bleach or sanitizer, floor cleaning solution)
Food and spices
Personal toiletries
First aid supplies as well as any other OTC medications that might be needed.
All lost and found items will be kept in the camp office for 30 days.
The camp-owned equipment should be used in a proper manner and with adult supervision.
For the safety of campers and staff, no firearms, air guns, or fireworks of any kind are permitted on the grounds.
For your safety and the well-being of the wildlife in the area, please do not pet, chase, trap, or harass them in any way.
Lights, heat, and A/C should be turned off when areas are vacant.
Please observe all signs on the campground.
