He Has Been Faithful

2 Samuel 7:8 is a profound declaration of God’s faithfulness: “Now then, tell my servant David, ‘This is what the LORD Almighty says: I took you from the pasture, from tending the flock, and appointed you ruler over my people Israel.’” This isn’t just a historical account of David’s meteoric rise from shepherd boy to king. It is a testament to God’s unwavering faithfulness.

Imagine David, under a starlit sky, remembering nights spent with the sheep and reminiscing about his humble beginnings. The same hands that once cradled sheep now hold a scepter. And he knows this transformation wasn’t by chance. A faithful God orchestrated it.

David’s journey serves as a beacon of hope. If God could elevate a shepherd to royalty, imagine what He has in store for you. Your past, with its trials and triumphs, is a testament to God’s faithfulness. And, if He was faithful then, imagine the hope-filled future He’s crafting for you now.

“All my life He has been faithful” is not just a past-tense testimony. The truth is, in all your future, He will be faithful as well.
