God Notices The Details

1 Kings 7 recounts King Solomon’s construction of the grand temple in Jerusalem. He employed a skilled artisan, Huram, who built massive pillars 37 1/2 feet tall and 18 feet in circumference. Though probably unnoticed by most, the Bible highlights, “The capitals on the two pillars had 200 pomegranates in two rows around them” (1 Kings 7:20, NLT).

The effort put into crafting the pomegranates at the top was immense. They were seemingly insignificant and probably unseen by most people, but they were important to Huram. While most people would have overlooked them, God and Huram recognized and appreciated the intricate details at the top of the columns.

God truly understands the significance of the little things in our lives that may seem unimportant to others. If it matters to us, it matters to Him.

Just as God paid attention to the details of the pomegranates at the top of the pillars in the temple, He is also attentive to the seemingly insignificant details of our lives. How insignificant? “The very hairs on your head are all numbered.” (Luke 12:7 NLT)

If one hair matters…you matter! Remember, nothing that troubles you is too insignificant to God.
