The BBC reports that a lion's roar carries over 5 miles. The power and majesty in its voice are not just by chance. Its unique vocal cords that allow its roar to carry so majestically result from a Divine design.
Proverbs 28:1 states, "The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion." As the lion's roar dominates its landscape, our praise should strongly reverberate throughout our world. While we may not possess the lion's physical might, our praise should roar as we worship Him.
So come on, my soul,
Oh, don't you get shy on me
Lift up your song,
'Cause you’ve got a LION
Inside of those lungs
Get up and praise the Lord.
