When you were in elementary school, you probably learned about the process of rain and evaporation. In short, it rains; the rain nourishes the earth; the rain evaporates to form clouds that create rain again. Because of this cycle, some scientists say we drink the same rain the dinosaurs drank. Interestingly, God uses the same analogy to describe the impact of His Word on the affairs of earth. Isaiah 55:10-11 (NLT), “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth... so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire."
Think about it! The same Word spoken to Abraham, the same Word spoken to Moses, the same word spoken to Simon Peter, is the same Word spoken to you. And the promise is, “It will not return…empty, but will accomplish what [He] desires!”
Let me leave you with just one shower of blessing today. This promise spoken to the original apostles is spoken to you. “Be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20 NLT)

After 40 years in full-time ministry, I try to see how the little things in life speak big things about God. This blog is an attempt to share with you the many ways I see the love of God in the ordinary things of life.
